How often does the Mailboat sail from Miami or Fort Lauderdale?

Sailing times vary and do change weekly.  We schedule sailing twice per week and departs from Port Everglades.  Please check our social media page or Our Schedule page on our website for updates.

What are rates to ship cargo to Nassau?

Rates are based on dimensions/ size. This can only be determined when the cargo arrives to the designated Florida port.

Do we pay for our shipment in Florida?

No, you pay for your shipment once it arrives into Nassau.  Ensure that you are registered with Click2Clear and have a licensed broker available.

Do you take passengers to Nassau?

No, we do not. We carry international cargo only into Nassau.

Do we need a reservation to sail?

Yes you do. Please see the head office to pay for and book confirmed seats.

Which islands do you take passengers?

We take passengers into Cat Island and Freeport only.

NOTE:  Your MB representative will forward your documents to the brokerage team. Download Bahamas Customs C-44 Form.  Please fill out form to be sent to brokerage team along with a government issued ID.  If using your own Broker, pay and collect your shipping documents from MAILBOAT head office in Nassau. If using a MailBoat Broker, you will be informed via telephone contact/email when your custom entry has been completed.
